Code Along Blog
Dwayne and I got together on Monday night to talk about the future of Code Along Blog. We both decided it was time to call it quits.
We've been at it for roughly 6 months with barely 1 viewer per stream. Even the videos on YouTube barely get any views. After this amount of time I would have expected to have more of a following, but it wasn't the case. I'm not sure what exactly the issue was. Likely, it's just the wrong platform for what we were doing.
After talking about it a bit, I invited him to help me out with Synaptik Labs. He agreed, so look for more videos there soon.
As I mentioned above, Dwayne decided to help me out with Synaptik Labs. I'm definitely looking forward to having someone else helping out.
The YouTube channel reached a milestone earlier this week: 500 subscribers!
I'm currently in the "research phase" for my next series which will talk about Blobs and show a use case for them. It will involve public / private keys and a client / server application.
I'm digging into the recommended app architecture and learning about the Repository pattern and trying to apply it to our simple screens. It isn't as clear cut as I thought it would be.
