I uploaded another video this past week for the Start Page 2.0 project. I made more mistakes and at the very end I couldn't solve a problem I was having. After a day of rest I was able to figure out the issue pretty quickly and, just like most issues, it's a simple one. I forgot to call "subscribe" on my Observable. Easy mistake, but like I said, it happens. I'll work on the fourth video soon.

Code Along Blog

Monday night we worked on integrating Firebase into the calendar application. It went very smoothly even though neither of us had worked with Firebase for a long time.

Work

I found out this week that I will be furloughed for two weeks over the course of the next few months. This basically means I will be forced to take time off without pay. It is unfortunate, but I understand the reasoning from a business perspective and I am thankful that I still have a job. The decision could have been much worse.
